Awesome! That show had to grow on me, but after several years of airing two episodes a weekend, I started to appreciate it. I could so see our little pear with her Royal Doulton teacup, pinky in the air….

Just wanted to say thanks for the like on my blog, Angriest pear – I’m pretty sure your viewing tipped my blog stats over the 4,000 views mark, so big big thank you! (sorry I don’t have any prizes to bestow, if I could I would.)

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Keeping Up Appearances! This is the show that inspired me to want to go to England, and a love of all things British! I am an Anglophile through and through! This is the show that inspired me to seek out study abroad programs at my university to go to England, and what made me study abroad in London during the final, and alas, all too short, semester of my junior year in college! This show and As Time Goes By, with Judy Dench! I love my Britcoms! Give me a good Britcom any day over the absolutely nauseating garbage that passes for Television here in the USA! I long to watch these shows again, they used to show them on Saturday evenings at eight on my local PBS station here, one after the other, Are You Being Served is another great one too…There are so many good Britcoms! Thank you so much for this post, and for bringing back so many wonderful memories for me…Ahhh, to be in London again!
Thank you so much! 🙂
