Frighteningly, I just aired the Seinfeld episode with the space pen last night. I find this version of the story more entertaining. Good to know there’s a kernel of sweetness in our curmudgeonly pear.

Yes, after much pressuring from his mother. Which leads to a big blow-up between Jerry’s father and the guy with the pen.
