haha I usually write a day summary per postcard instead of wish you were here. its nice later to see them.

Yeah, I’ve never actually written those words, either. And I haven’t sent a post card since 1989, but I like that idea! A few post cards with your notes about what you’re doing would be so nice to come home to – or get later in that first sloooowwwwly passing week back to the daily grind. And we quickly forget some of those little moments, so the reminder must be wonderful!

yes it is – i’ve been doing it for some years. I had postcard book with all of them (including normal ones form friends) – its a nice thing to have – i’m on my 3rd postcard book.

That’s amazing idea! Gives you something to look forward to upon returning and it’s kind of a travel journal. I may have to try that!
