Poor Pear. I’d suggest she move to the country, but I imagine she’d find plenty to be angry about there, too. 🙂

This reminds me of a holiday I had in Tobago.. We stayed in a wooden apartment overhanging the glorious beach; the only apartments. There were 4 apartments all joined together and we were in the end one nearest the forest, for the 1st few days the only people there. On our third day 2 couples moved into the apartment adjoining ours. As usual we sat out on the balcony in the evening eating dinner, drinking a glass or two of wine, enjoying the deliciously clean cool air and the sea.. A few minutes in clouds of cigarette smoke started to waft onto our apartment from the 4 people smoking on the balcony next door..
I soon had something to say about it and I don’t know where they smoked after that but it wasn’t out on the balcony !
