Do you think his hatred of Mondays stems from the knowledge that a lot of people start ‘diets’ on Mondays, and ‘diets’ mean eating more fresh fruit and vegetables, and as Angry Pear is a fresh fruit, then……. well. I’d be pretty pissed off about Mondays if I knew that there was a strong chance I was going to be eaten.

I had a boss (who died at like 40) who came into work on Monday mornings and said, “Damn! Seven more days until Monday!” I laughed. It started mattering a lot to me when he died.
