My very talented friend Monika made this choose your own adventure game as a final project for one of her programming classes. She used Angry Pear as her inspiration, pulling images from the blog. The entire story and concept is her creation, and I think she did a fantastic job of capturing Angry Pear’s spirit.
Expozine was so much fun. I wanted to say thanks to those of you who stopped by. It was really great meeting you in person. The whole experience was so rewarding. I get such a kick out of seeing people enjoy these pears as much as I do.
I was also interviewed by the Montreal-based online journal GeeKorner. Check out the interview (there are more pictures!)

Angry Pear will be at Expozine 2011 this year in Montreal. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and see Angry Pear and many other small publishers and comic book artists that will be displaying there. I’ll be selling mini-comic books, pear cards, little polymer pears, and pins. You can preview some of them in Angry Pear’s Etsy shop.
EXPOZINE, Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27, 2011, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 5035 St-Dominique (Église Saint-Enfant Jésus, Laurier Métro). Free admission.
Please note: Angry Pear will only be there on Saturday. Not Sunday.
For more information on the event and to see the other vendors, visit Expozine’s website.
