I’ll be selling Angry Pear comics and other things from my etsy shop tomorrow at the Market Cooperative. This is my second time at this craft fair, and if last time is any indication, there’s going to be TONS of amazing artisans there.
In addition to comics, I’ve made a few St. Valentine themed owls just for the fair:
(the little hearts are felted pins, which I might sell too).
Cards:
And if cutesy Valentine’s aren’t your thing, there’s always this very Angry Pear card:
If you’re in Montreal, I hope to see you there!

Thank you to everyone who came out this weekend for Expozine! It was a lot fun. There were many interesting vendors, and it was packed! Here are some photos of Angry Pear’s set up and the event!
Here’s what I picked up there! Zines from Shushanna Bikini London, “Infinity in the Palm of Your Hand” chapbook and two prints from Cardboard Reality Press and Bekky O’Neil, “Alpha Fig” by Wai Au from Love Love Hill, and two Moomin comics from Drawn and Quarterly.
If you wanted to stop by this weekend to see Angry Pear, but couldn’t make it, I’ll be at the Market Cooperative fair this Thursday!
I’ll be attending Expozine this weekend! And no, I will not be selling the privilege of patting my rabbit, Beatrice. Instead, I’ve got new comics, stationary, pins, magnets, and watercolors! I may even bring some giant knitted pears.
Here’s a sample of some of the comics and stationary I’ll be selling.

Most of the new stuff is already listed in my Etsy shop, if you’re interested and aren’t in Montreal this weekend.
If you are in Montreal, you should definitely stop by Expozine. There are tons of small publishers, all selling really unique books and zines.

Distroboto is a project run by Archive Montreal that repurposes old cigarette machines into art vending machines. A few weeks ago, I made super mini versions of my Angry Pear comics for them! At $2 a pop, it’s a great way to learn about and support local artists.
They are currently stocked with three Angry Pear titles; Hipster Pear, Pears Gone Wild, and Pear and Rabbit. If you’re interested in full size versions of these titles, visit my Etsy shop. And, if you’re in Montreal, stop by some of their machine locations (listed on their website) and pick up a few of the goodies they’re selling.

This is a little stop-motion movie I made a while ago.
And speaking of pears loving pears, I’ve been collecting tons of pear pictures on Pinterest. You can follow my Pinterest pear board here!
Also, I’ll be at the Willingdon School Craft Fair this weekend with Angry Pear stuff. If you’re around Montreal, check it out. I think there will be some pretty amazing vendors there.

There is an odd phenomenon in Montreal of pears wearing heels in the snow– and I have never seen one of them fall.
Expozine was so much fun. I wanted to say thanks to those of you who stopped by. It was really great meeting you in person. The whole experience was so rewarding. I get such a kick out of seeing people enjoy these pears as much as I do.
I was also interviewed by the Montreal-based online journal GeeKorner. Check out the interview (there are more pictures!)
Little pears made out of polymer in an escargot dish.
Holiday and blank greeting cards (also available online at Angry Pear’s Etsy Shop).
Comics from some of my favorite blog posts and a brand new comic introducing Angry Pear. (These will soon be available in the Angry Pear shop).
Postcards with some of my favorite panels (like Leaf Extensions and Angry Pear vs. The Mood Ring).
Me.
So thanks again for coming by and being suppeartive! I hope to attend Expozine again next year and more craft fairs in the Montreal area.
Angry Pear will be at Expozine 2011 this year in Montreal. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and see Angry Pear and many other small publishers and comic book artists that will be displaying there. I’ll be selling mini-comic books, pear cards, little polymer pears, and pins. You can preview some of them in Angry Pear’s Etsy shop.
