Pears really like a long weekend!
Apparently pears really do love a long weekend, as this post wasn’t even on the ballot. There’s just something irresistible about a bottle of wine, a plate of cheese and luxuriating on the couch all day.
Mummy Pear was a close second, losing by only one vote.

The ants forced them to move their picnic.
“I can’t believe we have to move.”
They settled at what appeared to be a much better spot.
“There’s a bee!”

Pears barbecue on the weekends sometimes.
Pleasant Pear: “Good afternoon!”
Pleasant Pear: “What a lovely day.”
Angry Pear: “Too hot!”
Pleasant Pear: “You’re right, it is a little hot today, but we can’t complain too much.”
Pleasant Pear: “At least it’s not raining.”
Angry Pear: “You talk to much.”
Pleasant Pear: “Goodbye. It was nice to meet you.”
“Now this is living.”
At first they didn’t get along.
But then they discovered that they were angered by many of the same things.
“Oh dear, I’m late.”
“Too crowded.”
