There is little else that is worse.
Pleasant Pear: “Good afternoon!”
Pleasant Pear: “What a lovely day.”
Angry Pear: “Too hot!”
Pleasant Pear: “You’re right, it is a little hot today, but we can’t complain too much.”
Pleasant Pear: “At least it’s not raining.”
Angry Pear: “You talk to much.”
Pleasant Pear: “Goodbye. It was nice to meet you.”
Maybe this is why Angry Pear isn’t invited to any parties.
“Gimme a job, or I’ll kapunga ya.”
Triathlon Pear was the most outraged. Having failed to complete the triathlon, she was counting on winning Pear of the Month in the very least. Hopefully she doesn’t write an angry letter.
“Achoo!”
“Aaaah!”
At first they didn’t get along.
But then they discovered that they were angered by many of the same things.
“Shoo!”
“Gotcha!”
“Aaaah!”
“What do you want from me?”
“Who needs you anyway?”
“I’ll stop bossin’ you, when you start doing what I say.”
“I have to wait a whole week now?”
“These eggs are not poached properly.”
“This skirt fit last summer.”
This pleased her.
“Ooooooh”
The other pears attending the conference also wanted free drinks.
Pears do not like it when other pears sit on the couch all day playing video games and making messes.
“When I was in Palestine, they shot at us. I couldn’t believe what was happening. They confiscated all the cell phones, all communication.”
“Mm hmm. Yep. Oh today, the youth today. They’re sooo progressive. The brightest students in my classes—they’re left. Not left in a traditional sense, but progressive. Used to be the conservative kids who were the brightest.”
“Oh yeah. Oh no. I’m on the train now. This is the best pre-interview I’ve ever had.”
