It’s been forever! Drawing has taken a backseat to textiles as I continue in my master’s degree in textile design. But pears are never far from my mind! Here is a pear I knit with wire for a class last spring:
I wasn’t going to post anything today, but then I took these pictures and decided I wanted to share them. These are the NEW versions of the knit pears (coming soon to my Etsy shop). They’re a little smaller, but I think I like them better.
You certainly don’t want to be in that position this year! I’ve been making lots of new things and gradually adding them to my Angry Pear Etsy shop. A lot of them would make pear-fect stocking stuffers!
Here are a few of the new items available:
I’ve chosen a few images to turn into prints that I then paint with watercolor. I’m also up to doing custom work, so if you’ve seen something on this site that you’d like as a print or have an idea for something, just email me drew[at]angriestpear[dot]com.
New comics! (Pearishables, Pears of History, Myth and Legend, and Work-A-Day Pear). I love making these print comics. They’re all hand-bound and include some of my favorite comics from the past year:
Mini-notebooks made from recycled paper. There are six covers to choose from (“enemy list” is my favorite, obviously):
Verónica at Agujas Blog (a lovely knitting / fiber arts blog that’s making me want to get back into knitting again) recently featured some Angry Pear comics about knitting! Check them out!
