Awhile ago, I posted a Magician Pear (and his lovely assistant). Here is their first trick:
“Thank you all for coming! That’s the end of our show.”
It’s a bit late in March to be thinking back to February (a month most of us would like to forget), but it is time to vote for best pears of that cold, dark month. Here is a list of candidates, but feel free to write-in any pear that appeared in February. Use the poll in the sidebar to cast your vote.

A few weeks ago, two pears found themselves fighting over the same scarf. The quarrel grew heated and the scarf was torn in two. (Read the full post here.)
Recently, at a party:
“You won’t believe what happened to me while I was shopping the other day. I found this lovely scarf…”
Meanwhile, in another room:
“…and this horrible pear ripped it right out of my hands. So I tied what was left into this bow.”
A little while later:
“It’s you!”
And his lovely assistant.
A little while ago, this pear discovered a leak in her ceiling (click here to read the first post), and she took the day off of from work to deal with the catastrophe:
“Keep it down! I’m trying to hear Regis!”
A few weeks ago, the pipes froze in Angry Pear’s apartment, and there was no water for a couple of days!
No water to brush her teeth!
No water for coffee!
No water for bathing!
No water for anything!
And pears need water!
“The soup doesn’t look very good.”
