“This book is horrible.”
A few weeks ago, two pears found themselves fighting over the same scarf. The quarrel grew heated and the scarf was torn in two. (Read the full post here.)
Recently, at a party:
“You won’t believe what happened to me while I was shopping the other day. I found this lovely scarf…”
Meanwhile, in another room:
“…and this horrible pear ripped it right out of my hands. So I tied what was left into this bow.”
A little while later:
“It’s you!”
“We need to have a serious, mature and fair talk about our relationship.”
“I’ve prepared a list of grievances.”
A little while ago, this pear discovered a leak in her ceiling (click here to read the first post), and she took the day off of from work to deal with the catastrophe:
“Keep it down! I’m trying to hear Regis!”
“This jam is too runny.”
A few weeks ago, the pipes froze in Angry Pear’s apartment, and there was no water for a couple of days!
No water to brush her teeth!
No water for coffee!
No water for bathing!
No water for anything!
And pears need water!
“The soup doesn’t look very good.”
“Look at this resort I’m going to at the end of the month. There’s a private beach, world-class restaurants, shopping, and drinks are included!”
…
“This mood ring says I’m happy.”
“I am not happy!”
“Hmmm…”
“This means I don’t have to go to work today!”

“She thinks she so hot ever since she got her new leaf.”
In front of the turnstile is no place to stop and look for a ticket!
A new year, a new pear!
For Maurapear.
“Mmmmm.”
“This eggnog is delicious.”
“Just one more cup!”
…
“You drank it all?!”
“Oh I love Christmas. I can’t wait!”
“This is awfully small. I hate Christmas!”
“Too small!”
“Too skimpy!”
“Too big!”
“I’m not amused.”
Angry Pear hates all lines, but especially lines during the holidays.
And she hates it.
“Where is the ‘dislike’ button?”
Not all pears are in the Christmas spirit.
“I hate it when the yarn gets tangled.”
She likes to keep tabs on the neighborhood.
“Put your socks back on!”
It’ hard to get up when the pear next to you gets to sleep in.
“Awww. What’s wrong? Do you want a cookie?”
“Don’t peartronize me!”
“I ordered a thin crust.”
“But this is TOO thin!”
