The Pear of the Month winner for February 2013 is….
Snow Days!
Yes, February was a long time ago, but I’m still going to post my favorite pears of that month, and ask you to vote on your favorites. Like I said with my last pear of the month, I’m hoping to turn the winners into a calendar!
The nominees:
Staying on Budget:
Leftover Cake:
Snow Days:
Rabbit Poo:
Boxing Pear:
You can vote using the poll on the sidebar. You can also write in pears from February 2013. I’ll leave the poll up for about a week, and then announce the winner!
Thanks for voting!
A few weeks ago, I posted this Peartographer. Here she / he is in action! And some pictures I took of this really cute pear.
Again, I don’t remember the episode!
Here are some other Poirot pears (click the images to make them bigger):
Some other comics about pears shopping:
Dapper Pear Shopping Spree (I had forgotten about him)
Shopping Spree (I had forgotten about this one too. Makes me laugh)
Maybe you would like to shop for some pear stuff (pear-aphernalia)? Check out my Angry Pear Etsy shop! I make everything myself!
Inspired by this.
For a better sense ofAngry Pear’s relationship to my her neighbors, here are some earlier comics:
Last year I made this comic about taking Easter photos of Beatrice (my rabbit). I redid it in black and white for the mini comic Pear and Rabbit.

Even pears get depressed. I know I certainly do, and it can be very hard to hoist myself out of a bad mood. Sometimes I don’t even know why I’m feeling down, but knowing why doesn’t always help either. Every year, for instance, I notice my mood goes a bit sour when the seasons change, yet I can’t seem to stop myself from feeling that way. I’ve found that the best was for me to get over feeling down is to force myself to do something I usually enjoy– seeing friends, knitting, taking a walk (although that’s harder with all this snow in Montreal!). It can be really difficult, but it often helps.
There is no such thing as a snow day in Montreal.
This is one from a while ago that I redid for the mini comic Pears Gone Wild.

Pears also go pretty well in grilled cheese. This one with Whiskey Cheddar sounds quite good!
I want to thank all of you for reading Angry Pear. It means a lot to me. I make Angry Pear because it makes me smile and laugh, and sometimes it helps me work out some of my own anger issues… It’s rewarding to share these comics and drawings with readers who appreciate what I’m doing. So thank you all for reading, commenting, and laughing. Please keep sharing Angry Pear with your friends and family!
(Consider following me on Twitter or Facebook for a little extra pearishness!)
Happy New Year! I wish you all the best for 2013!
I had a lot of fun decorating my Christmas tree in Montreal this year, especially since I’ve amassed quite a few pear ornaments. Here are some pictures of my favorites!
Merry Christmas! I’m going to take a break from posting this week and enjoy all the holiday drinks and nibbles. Hope you all enjoy them as well!
I’d like to be the kind of pear that has a Christmas village, or rather, the kind of pear that can afford one.
I’ve been slow getting into the Holiday spirit this year and slow at drawing holiday pears, so here’s one from last year that I still really like:
This has been said before, but I feel it needs to be reiterated.
Last day of the NovemPEAR sale! (Take 15% off anything at the Angry Pear shop by using the code 15PEARCENT)
Sorry for all the pear-motional posts lately. I’ve been making a lot of new stuff and want to share it!
