Looking Back

Around the 1-year anniversary of Angry Pear, I looked back through this blog and was surprised that I had forgotten about some of these pear posts. I had intended to re-post a few of my favorites from the past year closer to the anniversary, but I just didn’t get around to it. So I’m doing it now. Click on the titles to see the full post. Enjoy!

Pears should never shop alone

“Would you meet me this afternoon at the train?”

“I wonder why she wants me to meet her?”

“Maybe she’s going to take me out for dinner.”

“Would you help me carry these?”

Happy Birthday Angry Pear!

It’s been a whole year since Angry Pear started! In celebration, why not take inspiration from the very first post (“pears enjoy cocktails and conversation… pears also like picnics“) and stay home from work, go on a picnic and sip cocktails? I can’t think of a more pearish way to celebrate!

Angry Pear may not like getting older…

But she does wine and cake!

Night of the Lepus!

This photo shoot was inspired by the extraordinary film Night of the Lepus, in which a plague of giant rabbits terrorize the American Southwest. If you haven’t seen it, I urge you to check it out.

Angry Pear Feature!

I was delighted when Kate from IllustrateKate asked if she could do a feature about Angry Pear with a Q&A portion.

Click here to read the feature!

Be sure to poke around Kate’s blog and gallery. She’s a very talented artist, and her blog showcases her work as well as the work of other fantastic artists. It was a real honor to participate in her first feature. Thanks Kate!

Tying the scarf around the midsection not only compliments the pear figure, it creates a fun, flirty look that says, “I’m up for whatever!”

They Meet Again

A few weeks ago, two pears found themselves fighting over the same scarf. The quarrel grew heated and the scarf was torn in two. (Read the full post here.)

Recently, at a party:

“You won’t believe what happened to me while I was shopping the other day. I found this lovely scarf…”

Meanwhile, in another room:

“…and this horrible pear ripped it right out of my hands. So I tied what was left into this bow.”

A little while later:

“It’s you!”

Leaky Ceiling – Update

“Keep it down! I’m trying to hear Regis!”
